I tasted English beer some time ago but I found German beer to be better.
The best by far was a Pilsner Urquell from Plzen in Czech Republic
As for pink elephants that’s what you see when you are drunk and I've been toasted on DT and I can see why its won as many awards as it has.Comment

Originally posted by Mike SullivanI've heard about that place. I might have to make a trip down there some time (ie, some time after 1 month from now ) to check it out. Fortunately, one of my friends live pretty close to there (17th street, though on the other side of the Vine St Expressway).Comment

Even their food is fantastic... you can't get better frites, mussels (all cooked in beer) or burger anywhere.Comment

Anyone can easily make their own beer to fit their needs though. That is what I am doing.
If you are looking for things to do in Vancouver, check with Matt Mickiewicz from SitePoint.com. He lives up that way.Translations provided by Google.

It's not like we get to choose who runs, either, we're given a choice between two or three people.
