I usually like .net better as it gives me the feeling that it has potential to grow (into a network of sites).

Then again, I only have .com sites... seem a bit more professional maybe...

well, the .com is the most "remembered", and is often the first "guess" when people try to go to a site.

I usually try to also but the .net domain when I buy a .com though.

I have .com and .net and redirect the .net to my .com. I just think net sounds a bit better.

.com because it's easier to go to a .com domain. I nearly always type the domain without www or the extention and hit CTRL + Enter

I use it so much that I get a little frustrated when I have to visit a .ie, .net or .org domain

.com sounds better to the masses of the world I would of thought, though I took .net to be diffrent, though I have a few .com sites, .net is my main one.

I personally like .net better, but for maximum exposure, .com must always be the first choice. Just to be safe, I have registered .com, .net and even .org for my tech site

I prefer .com, because you can CTRL - Enter it but, I remember pressing CTRL and another key and getting .net to work.

I like the sound of .net instead of .com.
