    Wireless between houses

I am in need of some advice on how to wirelessly network between houses.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are two houses to be connected together into a single wireless network.
They are not very far apart, three other houses in between, but there are at least six 20" stone walls to get through.

One of the houses has a broadband connection which the other should share.
In fact all resources in both houses should be accessible by wireless devices in the other.

The house with the broadband connection already has a wired modem, firewall, router, and switch.

The other house has a wired switch and print server.

    Both houses need AP coverage.

It is the logistics of the connection between the two that I am unsure of.

The only thing I can see is a setup involving two APs, two bridges, and two high gain panels (maybe yagis).

Is there any simpler (cheaper) way of doing this?
I really have no idea how to go about connecting two APs

    Thanks

      Hi Dreamy

Anyway, I was thinking of something like the attached diagram with roof mounted yagis.
Does the network layout look right?

I don't want to shell out for all this hardware only to find that it doesn't work or is not necessary.

      *edit*

If the bridges connect switch to switch, does that mean that one bridge should be attached to the uplink port?

It is the same as connecting two computers directly, so it would be like putting a crossover cable between two physical NICs
