I normally don't like monitor stands. Do you have to look up to see the screen?

Well there isn't an IKEA that is very close and I really dislike going into Los Angeles. There is a Staples nearby but why pay twice as much as you have to for the same furniture?

I'm tall (6'4") and I have my chair raised so my elbow sits on the other desk so my hand has an easier time to reach the desk. My eyes are level with the middle of the monitor. My eyes look up just a little.

If anyone that is reading this thread has a fairly larger PC case that has a desk that accompanies it, would you please reply with details about your desk? I have a very quality oak desk that my parents purchased for me but unfortunately my Antec 1000AMG SOHO case will not fit in the PC slot. I would really like a desk that either encloses or lifts the case off the ground. I will be moving back to college soon and they have agreed to buy me a new desk if I leave my current one here.
