    When trouble starts brewing,...

What do you do when you know someone is dissatisfied with their position but there's nothing you can do about it and they keep bothering you? I've got a guy on my board that wont settle for less than Admin and I have 6 (including myself) already. I dont want to ban him but he's getting annoying. Any Ideas?

Wow, give less then 30min for a reply? harsh....

Tell him "No" if he cant accept a simple no, theres no way he could handle the admin job, and may i ask, whats the point to 6 admins? I wouldnt trust too many people to admin my forums.

Just tell him there's currently no room for additional admins right now, and that you'll keep him in mind when an opening comes up.
        Well, there it is.

give a moderator something for him, or tell him to grow up.

or you can put many stars under his username, so people can see how good he is and he can feel better... or understand your point and stop complaining.

Sorry, I tend to be a little impatient.

Thanks for the help. I'll try some of those options.

Give him a fake "admin" tag. ;-P

I second that. I just brought on my first super moderator, and this is a person I've known for over a year - and I asked HIM (luckily he said yes).

I only have 2 admins. Me and my friend in Germany. He doesn't do too much though which I don't mind. He pays all the $$$. No Super Moderators either.

I have to agree with Joe. If he can't take no for an answer, he wouldn't make a very good administrator.

One other solution - tell him to buy his *own* VB. He can then have all the admin control he wants.
