    Local content search

Is there any way to search my hard drive using more advanced options than the so-called-already-Advanced options? More specifically, is it possible to search by image resolution, movie resolution, movie framerate...a general multimedia search?

I have already looked in the Help and generally perused the Search window to no avail.

No since Windows, nor OS X use a Meta Tag driven File system (OS X does index inside of text files though, so you can search within them).

Hopefully the rumors of that coming in the near future are true. God knows how much this will help me sometimes

Perhaps there is some third-party software that can index a hard drive for this purpose?

mmm....found this on google, dunno if it's of any use since it's a bit pricey.

http://www.smallbusinesscomputing.co...le.php/3334961 shows it can be done though i suppose.
