We're looking for a remotely hosted chat program that either a)doesn't require a download or b)is simple enough that an untrained ape could understand it and c)looks good. Currently we're running a quickchat room-- http://www.quickchat.org While it's been fairly functional, there are a LOT of people who just can't use it for one reason or another. It's annoying! I field about 10 questions a day about the room and haven't the foggiest idea WHY they can't use it. AIM chat is attractive, but the ladies had a heck of a time figuring out how to register a name and download the program. (I spent HOURS saying, "no, click 'REGISTER'!!!") Are we destined to have either an ugly chat room with no functionality or one that noone can get into? I'd appreciate any ideas y'all could throw my way.
