I just heard on CBS news that Gooogle will be offering their own email service. It will be called GMail and will offer a fill Gig of storage space. Each piece of email will be scanned however for the subject. Each email will then be served up with an ad that will be tied in with the subject of the email much like adsense. It will be along in a few weeks.

My first thought is MORE SPAM!!! Gee, I average over 200 piece of junk mail a day, is it going to scan those and send me even more based on those?!?!?! Great, all I need is 1000 email a day telling me how to make my ***** bigger or where to buy drugs out of the country for cheap!Comment

When I first got this via about 10 pop up news feeds through sharpreader I thought it was a joke. But either way if it is it's one of the biggest jokes i've seen in my lifetime. I mean google has made a comprehensive area at their site about it. They even have an email updates form. The whole media have fell for it...
Let's just hope it's not a joke ehDean Clatworthy - Web Developer/DesignerComment

What's funny is this simple April Fools joke drove MS and Yahoo stock down."63,000 bugs in the code, 63,000 bugs, you get 1 whacked with a service pack, now there's 63,005 bugs in the code."
"Before you critisize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you critisize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes."
