We'll see Windows Longhorn before we see vB4.

A Microsoft employee said that Windows Longhorn would be out in 2006 the earliest.

earliest meaning it could theoretically come out around 2010 and that employee didn't mislead anyone in any which way possible

It was supposed to come out this year but they pushed it back two years... I doubt they will need to push it back 4 more years.

I doubt it, PHP isn't a true OOL.

Have you seen PHP5's OO capabilities?

                    Matches any other language.

I am thinking Fall 2005/Winter 2006, and yes it will definitely require PHP 5 Drool.

Now when will we see vbCMS? I am hoping for November/December. I need it for 4 sites ASAP.

It might match most of other OOL's features, but PHP itself is not verry object oriented.

I wonder if they'd rewrite the engine to use that SQLite software PHP5 comes with when PHP5 becomes the standard...
