After checking out all the nominees, I have to say that my vote goes for RPG Shock Forums. Really great job!
The rest of the boards did a great job too, so congrats to all of you!~ LANeros.com ~Comment

I'm gonna give a quick rundown on each of the five sites, based on their uniqueness and innovative design
Games-Guru: Nice header, footer and border, and the postbit buttons are different, but other than that, not much more than a slightly customized forum index, the postbit is almost exactly like the vBulletin default.
Bear Spot, while the color combination is good, doesn't have a whole lot of customization to it.
Planet Plastica has a nice clean header, and a fairly unique postbit, but the rest of the design hasn't had much done to it.
RPG Shock is probably the prettiest, a neat postbit with a good balance of text and graphics, and pretty graphics on just about every other part of the forum. But that's the downfall... the board is a bit too graphics heavy. Dialup users would get pretty frustrated with it.
racing-forums is by far the most unique place I've seen in the competition. The layout is a straight, no-BS, no clutter job, with no more graphics than is necessary. I like the left column jobbie on the home page, and I especially like the postbit and how it spaces out with the background showing behind it. Racing-forums gets my voteComment

fury you sort of contradicted yourself in your breakdown. Above you say how games-guru only has a flashy front and the rest is vb default and then below you say how racing-forums is more default but it's ok... wha? You see what I mean?
Btw, my vote goes to games-guru?Dameon White, Lead Designer
