Reinstall all templates

Hi,

Can I make reinstall to update all templates one time without resetting other tables like users and threads ?

This could be useful when making too many changes to installtemplate.php file and want to update all templates on already working BBS.

No answer! hmmm.. No problem I find the answer myself, the real problem is I put my question before trying with the php files I already have.

For any one may concern here is the answer to "How to reinstall the whole installtemplate.php without reset all other files in your database and lost the current forum information such as users and threads ?"

1. Upload install.php and installtemplate.php to your forum admin folder e.g. www.yourdomain.com/forum/admin <<--Here

2. Run the install script with step#6
example:
http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/admin/install.php?step=6 "Setting up templates"

That's it. No thing more. don't continue the installation program Now all new modification you have made in installtemplate.php is populated in the template table in your database.

Of Course there is an other ways to do the same progress for those whom experience php programming and looking for improvment hacks to slow down thier system , but for the beginners like me this is the easiest way rather than open each template from control panel especially in the next few days days after the first installation when we make a lot of modification and fixes for language localization.

Suggestion : Why don't you add font size control to vB code ? it could be nice!!
