He did that by heavily editing the postbit template, along with almost all the other ones. I doubt he is going to give these templates out, though. Just try doing some interesting stuff with your postbit templates, the possibilities are endless.

The majority of the stuff done there is making the templates look different. Other sites may have done it, but I doubt they copied his. Feel free to ask him if you want to...

it's all html. it's not easy. we can't just say "do this, this, and that" and you're done.

Yup, just get the basics of html first, then just start playing around with vb templates. It is really quite easy to make some very hacked layouts, but anyone would be lying if they said it did not take time.

And there's certainly no instructions on how to make forums like that. Forums like that require lots of time, hard work, and a great deal of knowledge about html and graphics. There isn't a 'code fo that'.

If you think there is a, "code fo that", you clearly need to learn two things.

HTML and the vBulletin templates system.

It is not that hard to do to be honest, as long as you know HTML. As said above, we can't just tell you to do this and that and expect it to be done and look perfect . Set aside some time and fool around with the postbit and move things around - who knows, you may come up with something you like.

well, I've been working on the warpstorm forums for about a month, and am 90% done, there's a few bugs to finish, and it'll only be a matter of time.

to do this, you need a good knowledge of templates, slicing, and HTML.
