Guess you could say I’m a virgin..

I am new to this and haven’t got the first clue on how to customise the style/templates. What I am looking for is a few examples that I can take apart and see how they work try different things etc. Does anyone have any old style/templates that I can play with?

Could someone reply with a very quick description of styles and templates? Which does what etc.. I have to find out some how..

Right here is a whole list of templates and what they do. It is very helpful. I knew nothing, but am getting better.
Sorry, if you look at the templates, you will realize there is no real quick way to explain them all.
