Weird Image which won't go

Hello. I am having trouble with an image or something inbetween two graphics on my site.

Here is a close up shot of it

and this is what it looks like on the forum

that's the menu_background.gif, edit header template and remove both instances

Ok now it does this. I am not sure how to align it now.

1st instance remove

background="images/menu_background.gif"

2nd instance remove

nowrap background="images/menu_background.gif"

hum.. now this happens.

replace <td valign="bottom" with <td valign="top"
