Where in the control panel do i change the $titleimage variable to point on to another title image ?

Control Panel -> Options/Change Options -> Styles Options

That one is for the global setting.

For each forum:

Control Panel -> Forums/Modify -> YourForum/Edit -> scroll down to Title Image

This replaces your "default" title image with a custom one for that forum only.

$stylevar[titleimage] contains not only the path to the logo image but dimentions too. I see where I can change the path, but where can I change the dimentions? If I want to change 209x85 for something else, where should I check?

My original reply was for the version of vBulletin that was current in 2000. I am not sure what you want to do. Are you trying to add some HTML to the template to resize the image when you display it?
