    Making the Graphic's Editable

Just wondering why the header gradients and other art work isnt editable so it doesnt have to be recreated? For example, if you download the graphics back for vb3 and a you wanted to make a change of color for the gradients. It would have to be done from scratch bc the .gif files arent editable..

Not sure what you mean...you can always edit the files using a graphic editor.

VB5 uses sprites to improve performance. This is the practice of combining numerous small images into a single large image and using CSS to display only the relevant part of the image. This makes editing more difficult because you need to edit a larger file that has many small images within it, but it is the only way to get the improved performance.

I suggested to use Font Awesome for icons to be easily customized - color, size, drop shadow or anything that can be done in CSS. http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-10807

"more difficult to edit" isnt so bad as, "can only have one size or style"

im hoping vb5 will at least make a way for larger forum icons...perhaps separate sprite sheets for diff size/style options or something idk
