Changing the color of postbit_background doesn't seem to do anything on my forum. The background of the post area simply retains whatever color is set for the body_background. Is this a bug?

This is a bug - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-5207 There is a temporary fix posted in the report.

Just because the class is blockrow doesn't mean that is the only CSS affecting that area. I'd suggest using something like firebug to look at the item and see what other CSS is affecting it.

It was registered on 27/Nov/14 and It is still unconfirmed....
