[vB4] Post body background

Greetings,

I am trying to bring the vb4 style as close to the stock vb3 style to avoid all the complaints from my users (they say that vb4 is too bright and hurts their eyes).

To that effect I need to change the background of the post area. I believe this is the postbody background (postbit_background). I have changed that stylevar but it has no effect to my style

Any pointers?

That is the correct StyleVar I believe. Have you checked that you are viewing the style that you are editing? Also does the colour change to the new colour in the Admin CP when you save it? If it doesn't perhaps there's a syntax error e.g. FFFFFF instead of #FFFFFF.
