I installed it just fine right now on my 4.0.6 test site. Are you making sure to click on Ignore Style Version when you import it?

It also works on my site too. Now I am just trying to get it to be the default which I have yet to figure out how to do!
And google search for "changing default VB Styles" does not help. LOL Ah what a fun day!

I have about 10 styles from 4.0.2 and I'm about to upgrade to 4.0.6. I was under the impression that because of the Style Generator now and the changes to the architecture I should uninstall all my 4.0.2 styles before the upgrade. Is that NOT necessary? Will most of these styles probably still work fine?
I don't see the styles publicly available anymore, and thought that might be an indication of incompatibility.?.?
I get so stressed out by these upgrades... please advise.

I can think of no reason why you would need to uninstall vB4 styles in order to upgrade your site (where did you hear this?). And, all the style generator does is generate a new style to add, it doesn't do anything to existing styles.

Thanks Lynne.
I didn't hear it anywhere. I just remember Vb talking months ago about drastically changing the stylevar architecture, and thought that with the new style generator that maybe they had done so, and since I couldn't find the styles that used to be offered on this site for download anywhere now, I drew the conclusion that maybe they were incompatible.
