Actually it's the </td> tags not the </a> tags-- bring up all the </td> to the same line as the images.

Might I make a suggestion for your main graphic header--

The edges are a little rough (white edges over blue). If you did it in photoshop here is a quick fix:

Select the layer that the white outline is on.

CTRL-A to select everything on that layer

hit your cursor up once and then down once, this will shrink the marquee to enclose only the graphic

Go to the top menu, select, modify, feather-1

        Select, Inverse

        Delete

This will add a bit of smoothness to the edges (hopefully) Ahh heck I'm gonna go save your image and do it me-self.

Hmm this silly board doesn't have an image upload feature. Here is your board title smoothed out if you care to take a look:

Overgrow can you do the bottom half of my title graphic also?

Sure thing. If you send me the original PSD I can do a much cleaner job than starting with an already dithered GIF.

Overgrow your images have a different blue background so I can't use them. I will try to re-create the title and save it as a .PSD though if I go to that much trouble I can just do the feathering myself

                    About the netscape problems..

When I get a blank page, I can get "back" then "forward" and the page will pop up. Very annoying, especially for those users that actually use netscape as their primary browser (or have to because they are non windows)

No need, it was just the feathering leaking out too far so that the edge color was different than your #336699 background. I put them together and then cut them so they will share the same palette now as well.

                          Netscape Problems...

I ran showthread through all the html validators and fixed all errors (except the "ALT Tag is missing") and I am still getting BLUE pages sometimes (my background color is blue, hence blank pages are blue).

The thing is when the page is blue, the html is there as I will get little popup messages from the ALT tags like "modify profile", "Post new thread", etc when I move my mouse around the screen.

Anyone ever experienced this sort of things and know how to fix it?

I was going through your code this morning looking for that unclosed table or possibly duplicate body tags.. thats what usually causes the blank Nutscrape. (I work all day with 1/4 of the old NS team :-) I couldn't find anything either.. but I know it's there! I'll start pulling out pieces one at a time till it appears then we examine that section...

(lighting one up for you as directed sir)

There is no need looking, there are no unclosed and/or extra tags. From my experiece those cause netscape to not function every time, not "randomly".

I think the problem was nested tables as I removed some tables structure and seems to be working now.
