[vB4] How to add content outside of the vbulletin body?

In the attached image I want to add some content there, be it a banner, sidebar or advertisement.

But I can't figure out how to add it there as, using the templates, I can't seem to add anything outside of VB.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

EDIT: Basically, what I'm trying to achieve is a global sidebar which would exist on every page, including CMS, blogs, whats new, new post, new article etc.

Would one have to go about embedding the vbulletin page in another page?

The best place to ask for help with this is over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

This will not be possible. The sidebar displays in board index only.

Apparently so, though times haven't been much better there.

I would code my own custom sidebar and this extra "column" would be independent of the forum and display everywhere.
