Does anyone know the code for making a toggle default closed?

I reciently purchased a theme. I wanted the forums toggle open/ toggle closed to be default closed.
Could you please send me the code to default close. If you need me to request a special template I can pay for that special feature.

all my forums show on the front page and that is anoying. I just want the category to show.

The toggle states are stored as cookies for each user, and they are defaulted in the open state. You would need to call the function with the force state being set to close.

If you are just looking to show categories on your forum home page, then set: Forum Listings Display Options -> Depth of Forums - Forum Home to 1. Far simpler, and no messing with cookies,
