Yeah I would say it looks pretty good. I would maybe include the forum in something, perhaps a rounded table. That would help bring out the black text a bit more. Hope that helps

thanx for taking a look guys, its really the first time ive actually taken time to customise a forum, i normally take the easy way and use a default style.

and no worries for linking to you, only fair that your credited with the buttons, and may i say your site continues to amaze me, very clean, crisp and well presented, and the colours rock

just for any1 whos still looking at the forum, ive taken on what some of you, and other designers have said and am currently changing the colours slightly so if it looks messed, im prob updating it while ya looking at it.
