A great Designer helped me out big time

I just wish to take the time and give a thumbs up to a designer that is a part of these boards as well. He goes by the name of napy8gen.

His work at creating my forum and portal was superb and his turn-around time was incredible. Pricing was excellent. Thank you napy for a job well done.

    Here is his site:

After reading some other positive reviews of napy8gen's work, I decided to hire him to convert a graphic design into a vB style.

I wasn't disappointed. This guy is amazing. I gave him a difficult design in PSD format and he sliced and coded it into exactly what I had wanted. And he did it in less than three days.

He also took time out to keep me updated on where he was at in the process.

Fast, extremely friendly, professional, talented...You can't go wrong in hiring napy8gen.

        Thanks, man!

          Mister Kravitz,

You caught my attention with mentioning of the slicing. Would you mind revealing if a copy of the PSD was provided that was sliced with the slicing tool in PS or if the slicing was done using a technique that would require you to re-slice it again if you were to make changes to the PSD?

In other words... if you bring up the PSD in PS and switch to the slicing tool while in PS (as opposed to ImageReady or something else) do you see the saved slices?

I ask this because I have had difficulties over the years with some coders to understand the importance of providing a PSD with the slices saved in the PSD.... and I have a few PSDs that I need sliced.

Unfortunately, at this time and as of 6/15/09, I will have to completely retract what I said in my initial post for starting this thread.

This is not the place for me to get into explicit details of the whole situation, but I will genuinely say that I will not and do not endorse any longer, the fellow I made reference to.

I would like to say on record though, you should give me my PSD files as promised, it is the right thing to do. I have paid you in full.

            Thank you
