Inserting Adsense in a Post

I'm trying to put a rectangle inside a post:

It should be where the ___ is.

But it doesn't show up??

What am I doing wrong?

I'm putting the code in the post, not the template.

I only want to put this in select posts at specific places.

But it isn't working. vBulletin puts <br /> at the end of each line of the adsense code and causes it not to load.

You cannot place adsense code in posts without enabling HTML which is a major security risk.

Then this is a problem with your code. Also I'm not sure that adsense code is supposed to work from within a post. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

I love vBulletin, but everytime you can't answer a question I get the "can't support modified...".

This doesn't have anything to do with mods.

No, there is no option to 'turn that off'. Doing what you want to do requires modifying the code. Sorry if that was not clear.
