How do you put skyscraper ads to showthread?

Where and how do you integrate skyscraper ads to showthread? Big problem seems to be the $spacer_open - $spacer_close html code.

You will need to edit the template directly to implement skyscraper ads.

I want to put a skyscraper ad next to postbits. I edited a postbit template and put a skyscraper ad next to first post.

But how can I put a skyscraper ad next to first two posts? Skyscraper ads have some vertical height.

Or how can I have a right bar next to all postbits?

      Thanks.

You need to edit the showthread template. If you need help doing this, then you should seek support at vBulletin.org

This is not working because of $spacer_open and $spacer_close.

There are a lot of tutorials as well as a lot of different modifications available at vBulletin.org which are for adding a side column which is what you need to do to add a skyscraper banner to your forums. You can then use conditionals to just show them on showthread.php if you so wish.
