Is my logo boring ?

I have recently visited most of the people on vBulletin who are "graphics gurus" websites.

They all have great logos and I woud love to be able to do them.

However, before I start - do you think my logo is dull and how do you think it can be improved ?

well... yes, it is.
First I'd probably replace the red with some other, less contrasting color. Next, add a logo or something, to spice it up and give the text a certain style.

OK but I have never seen anything that stands out, and does the job like this one.

It has been in about 5 magazines and on Tv(for about 5 secs) and it stood out, and IMO worked.

If anyone has a spare 10 mins and feel like knocking up some interesting ideas I would be grateful.

And if you think I am going to nick it, dont worry - I wont, replace visordown.com with another word if you like.

But Ideas would be appreciated, I would follow up inspirational ones.

Yeah I think thats really nice, definately more modern and "with it" than my logo is.

I prefer it to my logo i just dont think it has that clarity.

Im still jealous of people who can knock these things up in PSP etc !

eerh, let me see if i get this right, you want it more clear? If you give me the link to your forum i can fix up a logo for you that fits!
