When coding a skin, how is it possible to separate the forums? ie check attachment.

*Bump* I did everything in this topic: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156783 , but the dot thing still appears. First there was the extra row, then when i removed that, the dot thing stayed. I applied the code for that dot but there was no change. Is this mainly because i am using 3.6?? -
The instructions there should fix that.
