I'm not sure, but I thought
you could go to any web page
and open it in FRONTPAGE software
and you could see the code the
    page is written in.

    Is that correct?

Here is the link to my new site.

Still in design stages. Still changing a few things around. Sorry that I posted the other link and it was bad. I moved it to another domain name.

Feel free to post on it.

Any chance of a step by steb guide for an extreme beginner, on creating a great front page like yours

"I like it, I like it a lot"

ps. Did'nt you colour scheme used to be different, If it did, I liked it better before. If it has'nt changed, I will be back later after I have taken my tablets

thanks ... i did mess around with colour schemes... for the frontpage i added the gold kind of colour cause feedback said it looked too plain before... with the white ...

i created the frontpage look accidently when i created the store page at http://animeboards.net/store/ so i just decided i'd use it for the frontpage as well.

nope, that would just give you 'as it looks now' html code
and I don't go around stealing peoples hard work without permission anyway.

            Here's mine:

I just installed the Poll Hack (very cool!)...planning on others in the future. If I ever get enough traffic I might go for the PM hack.

Sorry, I did not mean to say I would steal
              anyone's work.

However, I would like to use Front Page
to see "how" they used html programming, as
a learning tool to design my own pages.

[/B][/QUOTE] nah... why would i do that ... not sure what you mean by tutorial for a frontpage... cause from what i've seen on your site you have that covered... your forum design is very cool... and must of taken ages to to do the template editing

for an easy way of cheating for your frontpage is to create a blank index.shtml file and use a SSI call to your /vb/index.php directory so going to the domain will bring up the forums...

I can do all the html, but it is the pulling of the data from the php files:
craete an index.shtml file and use a SSI call to your /vb/index.php
That is what I would have trouble with
I am new to all this, what is an SSI call, and how do u use it to get the data displayed on the main page?

I think perhaps this is a little off topic, so if you could email me a little more info.... that would help a lot.

                  Thanks in Advance

Any other new forums that anyone
                    would like to share?
