I've tried to view many same forums posted here that do
not load up because they have their forum view shut down
to Members Only.

Why do that?

Why not just shut down the individual forums to Members Only
so that guests can see the various forum titles to whet they
appetites?

I just bought vB yesterday (as of this posting) and I must say i love it. Much better than wBB which is was using previously.
