    Welcome to the Templates forum

Got some cool templates that you are just dieing to share with the world. Well this is the place to post them. We recommend that you use the [ code ] and [ /code ] tags to enclose the code to maintain formatting.

If we think your templates are good, you may find them appearing in the members area!

    What are templetes

Can you give or direct us to a quick over of templetes and what they can do for me. I currently use UBB on a business website and am being constantly asked for code changes. I don't want to maintain code especially with the problems this causes when upgrading. Can templates help?

Yes - templates will certainly help you with that. The templates layer is completely separate to the code, so you can change templates as you desire, and not lose them in the next upgrade.

It is doubtful they will work in 4.2.3. The system changed a lot over the 15 years between this post in 4.2.3.
