    Whatcha think of this layout?

    Hey gang-

I didn't know which was the appropriate forum for this, so I'm posting here.

Check out my new vB at www.bsboard.com

I have spent the last week working on layout, colors, etc. Lemme know whatcha think. I still have a few bugs to work out, but you'll get the basic feel or the board from the link. Thanks.

Looks very nice! I'm having a problem with the width of my forums for users with low screen resolutiion, but yours adjusts very nicely as I change the size of the broswer window.

Yeah - I've pretty much had it with UBB. I was really disappointed with version 6 so I decided to bite the bullet and purchase vB. I have a test Board set up with beta 3 and it's running great. The few users I've told about it are really happy with the improvement in speed and features.

Once vB 2.0 is out of beta, I'll make the formal switch.

Not for me. I was actually just about to install UBB 6.0 beta 2 when a friend turned me onto vB....and I'm glad he did. The UBB flat file backend was killing me, and to be honest I was shocked to see just how much functionality vB gives to its customers at a LOWER cost than UBB.

UBB was good to me in the 6 months I was using it, but I'm looking forward to a bright future withmy shiny new vBulletin.

            Thanks for the comments.

I second the request for the header and footer code. For the life of me I can't get my forums to look equally good to users with low resolutions. They complain of having to scroll left-to-right to see the whole page.

Sure.. You can probably just copy all of the code in the HEADER box and paste it here as "code" and do the same for the FOOTER box. If you need to know how to paste it as "code" on this forum, just click on HERE

                    And Thanks!

If you are that intent on seeing how I did it, just view the source on my main page.
