    Creating a pre-forums page

I would like to make a pre-forums page where a user can login, view selected threads, links and artwork before accessing the main forums.

Is there a way to set this up using html? I have been playing with templates. Would it be possible to past template code into an html to acheive this kind of thing?
If not, what is the best way I can create this kind of page?

I really like how vbulletin.com has the side bar info on the main page, before you choose community to get to forums.
Also, www.theadminzone.com, has got a similar setup, pre-forums. I see they have an articles listing. I like that. vbulletin.org has a similar pre-forums page.
How do I set all this up?

You have to make custom php code, this can't be done using just .html pages. For the .php is dynamic and .html is static.

You could check out vB Index, vB Advanced or vB Portal and alike portal/cms (pre-forum) add-ons for vBulletin. Made by customers and vbulletin fans who shared their resources on vbulletin.org
