    >> Trying to figure out how to put avatars to the left

    Go to your Admin Cpanel, then vBulletin Options. Search the page for "legacy" and then check that option to use "Postbit_legacy" template. I do have all of my styles setup so that both postbits, normal and legacy, work equally well. I prefer Fargoth with legacy but Squareville with standard.

    Thanks Pablo

      Pefect thanks!

      (heh.. now when choosing alternate colors, it colors the postbit instead of alternating posts)

        Filling a few requests, I've added a blue themed version of Fargoth.

          Thats a hot style. I wish I had decided to go with the other forum idea I had so I could take advantage of this!

            This is a pretty original skin. I really enjoy it, I hope it does well vBM.

              I asked my forum members if they like that and the overall opinion seems be that although the first impression is nice it's messy/unclear and difficult to read. I have to agree.

              For example on showthread page that poster info (background) is different from the rest of the page so your eyes will focus on that. Then the subject is in bold and finally the most important thing (message!) is in small font.

              So the text itself kind of disappears behind everything else when you look at that page.

              So visually it's nice but it's not very usable.

                Thanks for the comments

                Mika, I agree, it is not the most usable. However it is really meant to be used with the legacy postbit-- since you cannot choose this per style, sometimes I will have my site set to use the new postbit while I'm working on other skins. I'll put it back to legacy now and you can see that showthread becomes a bit more readable.

                  Sure you can..

                  In your phpinclude_start template put:

                  $vboptions['legacypostbit'] = 1;

                  To force the legacy postbit or put:

                  $vboptions['legacypostbit'] = 0;

                  To force the new postbit.
