    chinese encoding problem

    Hi vBulletin!
I'm having problems with my chinese forums. I already change the encoding of my DB to utf-8. The language and setting is also set to utf-8. The problem occurs only on the post. The weird part is when I type only those question mark characters it shows fine. And when combined in a sentence it becomes question mark. Please help me. Thanks..

Unfortunately full Chinese support requires editing the vB code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

2 things, 1: make sure you empty the blank character stripper, 2, make sure you have the Number of Characters Before Wrapping Text set to 0 to disable it

What steve said still holds true, you still may have issues after this, but it should help.
