I currently used the older version of a chinese language pack onto vb4.x and most of them worked. However, I noticed when it was as zh_TW and Big5 for the proper language code/charset, some of the chinese characters broke into symbols when submitting threads/replying threads.
when the language code/charset is set at en/ISO-8859-1 I typed and also pasted the chinese content and the chinese characters came out fine.
My question is, do I have to have the language code/charset set for chinese or can I leave it in english? Since no one has made a chinese language pack, at this point I think I will have to manually insert the phrases in english language and have it read out in chinese.
