    VB4 and languages

    Hi,

I'd like to know how much the old phrases have changed. If I use a language other than english, I can throw away that translation or I will be able to just add the new phrases?

Throwaway? Probably not necessary. You would most likely want to use the "Find Updated Phrases" tool to make sure that altered phrases still fit with your translations.

        Thank you for the attention
The subject of language is important for the new version 4.0

You're basically stating that for the most part the old vB 3.8.x translations can be utilised with 4.0.0? Just asking because so far nobody has said a word about the internationalisation support of vB 4.x. Have you tried to maintain that the forum component would use the same phrases and in the same locations as 3.8.x has? Just trying to gauge how much I need to re-translate and adapt the translation for 4.x. Perhaps you could give a figure (estimate or fact) on how many phrases will be new or different?

          Much appreciated!
