Language Pack Image Files

OK...stupid question I'm sure but I searched and didn't see the answer. When you install a new language pack that has a folder for image files...does the image file folder go into the forum Root? Apparently not because the image files for the German language pack that I installed are not changing. Still displays the English buttons and etc.

You can install the images wherever you want then set the correct paths in the Language Manager.
