    vb3 favicon

    vB3 Favicons
    - choose one and override the curreent one found in root folder
    - if favicon does not display add this line to your headinclude template (bottom):
    HTML Code:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />
    NOTE: rename favicon to favicon.ico

    If you want to see the favicon in action go to vb.org.

          Tried this one and it worked fine when displayed on my computer. Got the vb logo on when I tested it on another and got the ie logo on another.
          How funny, favicons seem to have a mind of their own.

            I've done everything that has been suggested here but I still can't get it to work. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful?

              Add that and then try shift + f5 to force a reload on browser; I can get the icon by hitting up the url directly, but for some reason browswer is not keeping it on the forum pages... the above html in headinclude should fix it.

                        Check to make sure that your favicon.ico file is in the forums directory too. Alternatively, you can probably try to give it the full absolute URL (IE: http://www.mysite.com/favicon.ico instead of just favicon.ico) if you are using different rewritten urls etc.
                        Best Regards,
                        Andy Huang

                          Hi everyone!

                          I've deleted and then added the "favicon.ico" file to my folder in the cpanel and then added that code in the headerinclude. It won't show up. Do I have to wait a while or should it be instant?
