If you want to add a custom page to your site, such as a privacy policy, and link it through the footer of your site follow these instructions.
First, be sure you are logged in as an Administrator with Site Builder enabled. Click on the New Page button at the top of the page.
On the next page click and drag the Static HTML module down into the blank part of the page and let go with your mouse. You will see the module be added to the page. Once it is there click on the pencil icon to edit the module. Note- by default the layout is for a full width module. If you want to change to a different layout for sidebar modules click the "Change Layout" tab below the selected New Page tab at the top. You can drag additional modules to other locations on the page if you change layouts.
On the Edit page give the module a title and add the text of the page to the big box. You must use HTML in the box, BBCode will not work.
After clicking Save make any addition changes to the layout or add additional modules if you wish. Once done click on Save New Page at the top.
Now give the page a name. You must also provide a template name, make sure it is unique. You can optionally provide a different Meta description. Unless you have a reason best to not change the URL. Click OK when done. Take note of the URL.We'll need that to add it to the footer later.
Once you click OK changes will be saved and you'll be on your custom page. At this point look at the URL in your browser and "copy" it to your clipboard. In this example the URL is: http://sedona.vbulletin.net/PrivacyPolicy
Now to add this to the footer click on the Footer button at the top of the page in Site Builder then click on the New Navigation Item button.
Now enter a title and paste in the URL you copied from your browser below-
When done press OK.By default it will show to all usergroups- if you want to limit which usergroups see the link click the Edit link under User Groups.
If you need to re-arrange the order of the links you can do so now. Click and drag the links to change their order.
Then click Save Changes at the very top of the page. You should now see the link in your footer.
Repeat this process to add additional pages.
