Nav, Logo, Login re arrangmenat

Is there anyway I can:

Put the navbar strip directly under the logo
The board title under the navbar strip
and the login box on the far right next to the logo? (but wont resize to the logo height size)

Just to make it a little tidier.

Well you take apart the template: navbar and add it to the template: header. If you want a custom style, then you can easily find one in www.vBilletin.org. I have see what you are describing at the free download style forum, but do not know what it was called.

Ok and I take it its the same with having the mini profile down the side of the posts rather then at the top?

Can anyone let me in to the secret as to what part of code is just the nav strip (not the whole box)?. I am still struggling to see through the php code.

To answer your question in post #3, that is just a option you can set to and not template modifications.

Here is a quick way of getting those results (it is html code & not php) This is not going to look good in the end...

Admin Control Panel >vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template [Yes]

If you prefer the old-style postbit, using two vertical columns rather than the new horizontal layout, you can switch back to using that template with this switch.

Please note that if you enable this option and wish to customize the template, you should edit the 'postbit_legacy' template rather than the 'postbit'.

Ok thanks for that.

I have noticed one thing though. I have to set the width to 97% because the forum goes right to the edge, however when viewing the threads it’s more narrow since setting this layout. How can I get it’s so its all the same width?

I would not know what have you done, as it should not display forum width size any different from one page to another. You are asking me to read your settings and template modification without even seeing them? If I had that ability I would be post answers prior to you posting your question.

Don'y bother clicking the link....the wrong template is set as default i am trying to figure out how to set the correct one to default.

Meh!, I do not see anything wrong at all.. It all lokks ok or just not seeing what you mean. I only see the orange style and it displays the exact same width as vBulletin.com. Your forums is shown at 100% width.

Can you see the the PM link? Someonr said they can't. Also how do you set a layout as default?

Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings > Default Style

Select the default style for your forums. This style will be used for all guests, and any members who have not expressed a style preference in their options, or are attempting to use a style that does not exist or is forbidden

Per Forum (Overrides other option)
Admin Control Panel > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager > Edit Forum > Style Options

There are still a couple of things I am trying to sus out like placing forum images (that shows when/if there is new posts) and buttons ect….other then that its cool.
