    Trouble upgrading

    I have done this kind of upgrade flawlessly in the past.. My host changed some things around and this is the first time i am upgrading since the changes

    this is the error i get.

    Database error in vBulletin :

    mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

        Are you able to provide any further help on the matter? or is this something i should be contacting my host about? In all honesty I can see the problem but i am unsure as to how to proceed with the solution.

          I have found the problem, had to change localhost on my config.php
