USB Webcam, how to make it wireless?

I have a USB Webcam from Philips but it's not wireless and I can't use it properly

Now Iam looking for some kind of connector which allows me to have some kind of wireless USB cable.. Is that possible? I have a Router with WLAN. Would be nice to have a solution that works hand in hand with that
    That's the end of that!

Are you sure? I think those devices are for computers only but I would need something like a wireless USB-cable which has it's own power so that the camera works.
      That's the end of that!

I don't think what you are looking for exists. Not only would it need its own power but it would need its own OS with drivers for the camera to work.

It would be better just replacing the camera with a wireless one. Here in the U.S., a wireless webcam costs about $90.00 which is a lot cheaper than any other solution.

Well I was thinking of WUSB. Basically just a device to replace the USB Cable.

The device should not control the cam, it should just connect the cam with my PC
          That's the end of that!

Then you need to wait until October... Only a month away.
