I've read this before, but I'll be the first to say it here. The song/poem (bomb Iraq) or whatever you want to call it is pretty damn lame IMO.

I don't want to start a flame war, and get this thread closed, so I'll leave it at that.

So I guess that's what you guys spend your time doing instead of formulating even one well-reasoned argument against overthrowing Saddam. Sounds like a winning strategy to me -- by all means, please continue.

This isn't the place for this kind of crap. 80% of americans support the president. In the end, thats all that really matter.

                        Let the bombs fall.........

Although the joke can be considered funny by some, it is so full of BS even I might laugh... although for completely different reasons.

In the meantime, France is outlawing firecrackers because every time one goes off, the entire military surrenders.
                          Well, there it is.

                            hmm, haven't i read something about 40%???

although that doesn't count, america is not the chief of the world.
I won't tell my own opinion here, but don't ignore some facts....
Scotts post is fun, for some in one way for some in the other way. But at least it should make someone think about..

40%? Much higher than that from what I've heard. True, America is not "chief of the world" but what i find ironic is when people make fun of America's economy being bad. (The song above mentions the market, so that too) but what you people need to realize is that America's economy affects everyone else’s. That’s not more "macho American talk" it's a fact, like it or not. America does enormous amounts of trades with larger countries like France and Japan, around $30 billion actually, that's another fact. Imagine if we were to boycott France again. Look at what happened with Turkey, only days after they voted not to let US use Turkey as a front on a possible attack on Iraq, their economy went down. Like it or not, when our economy is down, it'll slowly bring down everyone else's.

Like you said above, "don't ignore some facts"

You missed out they would only support action if backed by the UN.

So I guess you'll have to withhold your bombs for now...
