    vB-Homepage

    Hi.
Did you look your new site-design at an 'alternative'-browser such as Netscape or Mozilla?
I'm using Netscape 7.1 (bases on Mozilla 1.4) and the site looks terrible. (But with IE this site looks fine)
    Look here:

Your browser isn't downloading the CSS for some reason. Works fine in Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and Mozilla 1.6. Since they use the same rendering engine as Netscape, there has to be a problem elsewhere.

Well, but in forums the browser shows everything correctly, and at the site I looked to source-code, the css-file was reachable, so the browser has to show it?!

May the problem be caused by the old Mozilla-version Netscape 7.1 is based on?

Could be... Maybe time to upgrade since Netscape has been abandoned.

You say it so easy ...
But I have to share this PC and the "owner" doesn't want to use somethin different...

Is there a possibillity zo update the engine to Mozilla 1.6-standard?
(I've got something like that in shared files...)

Note sure, you would have to check at the Mozilla site.

Did you try a forced refresh? If the browser times out on getting the css file it will display the page without any CSS.

                  ctrl+f5
