    Having trouble with larger attachments

I have most max file sizes as 6024000. I have my php and mysql limits both at 16mb. I can upload small files fine. However - once I reach around the 2.5mb mark, the attachment fails. No error or anything. What happens is I wait for the file to upload. Longer for a longer file. The file attachment pop-up then refreshes and I have a blank page. That's it. Not sure where to look.

I have the exact same problem - also at the 2.5MB mark. Running Windows Server 2003 SE and vB3RC4.

These are my PHP/SQL settings on file size if it helps in debugging:

        PHP Max Post Size: 32M
        PHP Memory Limit: None
MySQL Maximum Packet Size: 32.00 MB

No. As boutwell and I both stated, we've both upped our php and mysql limits. There's no error involved here; simply a timing out. It could be Windows-related? Not sure, but I'm running Win2003 as well.

Have you tried increasing the max_execution_time in php.ini?

I'll give that a shot next time I can restart my server.

                Should I also up max_input_time?

I'd try one change at a time and see if it works.

Significantly increasing both numbers allowed me to post larger attachments, thanks for the help.

Same - I took max_execution_time to 5 mins and max_input_time to 3 and its working fine now.

                      Thanks all
