    New Post Refresh [f5 key]

when i am on the new posts screen. when i hit refresh in my browser or the f5 key it does not update new threads. it seems to update the current threads in there but will not update with new threads posted.

is anyone else having this issue?

well the link of the Navbar. "New Posts" click on that.
when i am on that screen and i hit refresh or f5 to update the threads, it will not update the list with any new threads. You have to go back to the mainpage and click new posts again. In Vb2 you used to be able to refresh on that screen and get the last new threads posted.

Ah, thats because the search is stored, in the database for a limited ammount of time, instead of preforming a fresh search each time. At least i think so.

That's correct. To get the new posts again, you have to click the 'New Posts' button again.

Sorry about kicking this old topic, but i was wondering if it's possible that if you goto newposts, en then refreshes, that it will perform a new search, rather than the cached one?

No, because the url you are refreshing is search.php?searchid=XXXXXX
