    attachment upload problem - File system directory is not writable

    Got this error :

    yes.gif:
    File system directory is not writable.

    I have already chmod the directory to 777 but after a while seems like it will auto changes it permission ...

    also

    I tried the below :

    Open functions_file.php and goto line 460

    Remove this:

    PHP Code:
    unset($attachment);

    But it still doesn't works

                  Freddie I just realise if I use an ordinary member aco**** to post attachment, there is no problem...

                  however if I use my admin account it will says unwriteable then seems like it will auto change the folder permission ....

                        by the way freddie my site, the copyright message is ok rite?

                        I change Powered by to something else. Leaving the copyright by Jelsoft alone.

                            any reason why that person was having that problem? it happens under some members accounts also.

                              You can try moving your attachments back to the database and then back out to fix it.
