Mass Delete All Private Messages
I use to be able to mass delete all Private Messages in 2.3.0 by running the following command:
Code:Tags: None -
Originally posted by joelrotunda85Is there a mass prune feature for Private Messages though? If so, where do I find it?
Code:TRUNCATE `pm`; TRUNCATE `pmreceipt`; TRUNCATE `pmtext`;

Originally posted by drives_fastor you can just click the "empty" link in each one of those three tables
If not, you can just run that above query in the vBulletin SQL query thingo.Comment

Same issue here - I deleted all PMs in my forum - -
emptying the tables for
`pm`;
`pmreceipt`;
`pmtext`;
but, my users report that they still see "X" stored in their PM folders - - even 'tho their inbox and sent folders are empty.
How do I fix this?Comment

To solve this problem, netshrine, you'll need to empty the 'pmtotal' and 'pmunread' fields found in the 'user' table, for each user, or else the system will be reading incorrect totals for your users. Don't empty the entire table, just those fields! If anyone has a graceful SQL statement to do this, please share.
This should really be an option in "UPDATE COUNTERS" -- "Rebuild Private Message Statistics," specifically.Comment
