    Can't log into ACP

I type in my username and password...it says 'Thank you for Logging In' and it brings me back to the login.

...and every time, it adds an & to the query string (ignore the brackets...the s was stripped when I posted this):
    non-pro/testvb/admincp/?&&&[s]=b5a4940b657941fe8515e1ca1a4b2d7f

I am getting this as well. I tried going to the modcp and it works there, but not in the admincp.

I'm sure I read it is normal for you having to login several times after a upgrade from 2.x...

I assume you tried clearing your cookies, right?

Clear your cookies and remove the sessionhash from the URL - this is caused by vB2 cookies conflicting with vB3 cookies.

Once they are cleared there shouldn't be a problem.

Same problem, and that didn't fix it. Tried from my .ath.cx domain, from my IP, from 127.* and from localhost

                Nope :-\

I cleared everything, offline content, cookies, history...restarted the browser, and went to /non-pro/testvb/admincp/

I entered the username and password I've set up for .htpasswd

                I entered my vB username
                I entered my vB password
                I clicked Log in

It says 'Thank you for logging in', and brings me back to the login page, with a session id attached to the request uri.

I can't go to /non-pro/testvb/ and login there, then try again, because the install script turns the board off, with the note 'Fixing an error...sorry'

                :-\

Additionally, this happens in IE 6 and NS 7. I cannot use the lost PW because I don't have sendmail configured correctly because I'm running it on non-production machine...

                My machine is a P133 (no comments from the peanut gallery) DEC w/ FreeBSD 4.7 / PHP 4.3.1 (cli) (built: May 9 2003 00:15:54) / mysqld Ver 3.23.52 for portbld-freebsd4.7 on i386

I set up a test board and I cannot log in to the admin cp either

I've cleared everything, but still can't log in

i'm having a problem too. I get logged out when there is no sessionhash in the URL. I have closed my browser and cleared all of my cookies. I set my cookiepath to "/vb3" during the install so it would be different than my main forums.

Yeah, I can't log in anywhere on my test board either.

The problem is related to the cookie domain.

Kier was so kind to fix it for me, but I don't really know what he changed.

Thanks again for your help, Kier!

Where do I change cookie domain in the database in vB3? the "options" cache template no longer exists
